It is NOT his job to reduce the fee due to your unfortunate overall circumstances. Just a question: do you ask for less pay in your job when the task was easier than others? Or if the boss is not doing well, do you ask for 20% less salary? And since the job is so easy and you only need one program: you have the constitutional right to choose your profession freely. Go for it and get rich with little effort. Your circumstances are respected, but this is cheeky entitlement thinking
