Is this financing feasible?

Some of these arguments about the costs of having a child really make me laugh.
A nursery for 1000€? Now, don’t get me wrong, but that sounds like a hormonal frenzy. Bed, changing table, and wardrobe don’t have to cost a fortune; the items are used for 3 years.
And this Aptamil example... I believe among the 50 or so kids in our circle of acquaintances, if at all, even once.

I think it’s awful to always build up such scenarios.

It goes either way. Our furniture cost about €1200. It should also be pleasing, and the cheaper stuff or even Ikea was not an option (I even find the latter functionally useless – untypical for Ikea). The furniture has no "baby decor," is of high quality, and the child also needs a wardrobe and chest of drawers when older than 3 years. As long as they don’t become a teenager, there’s no reason to replace the furniture. The crib can be converted to the next size for €150, but it will surely be the first thing that eventually has to go.

Some have to feed powder, some consider that normal and do it almost immediately... ours have never had powder in their mouth. Not because it necessarily should be that way, but because there was no reason for it. At the same time, it was also the cheapest option, and mom looks good as new quickly.

I already wrote, you can also get the stuff cheaper used. But not everyone wants used items. And especially with the first child, many want to treat themselves to something new. After all, possibly 2 or more children will use it.
And yes, the hormonal rush plays a role – try telling a heavily pregnant woman in nesting mode that she doesn’t need her desired children’s room. My husband almost paid with his life for that. And we only paid "800 €" (bed, changing table, large wardrobe, shelf). I just can’t stand those white Ikea beds and they aren’t that cheap anymore either.
For that, I settled for used strollers. It was good that way, I basically bought and sold them on a monthly basis until I found the model that suited me.
And yes, there aren’t many of these allergy kids. In our circle of friends, however, there are a respectable 3 children like that. And many people don’t have children yet. You just have to keep in mind that the first (I would say) 3 years can potentially be very expensive.

A friend changed her child on the couch ("gewickelt") (they used the "Windelfrei-Prinzip"), celebrated the family bed until the child was 4 years old, only carried the child (so never used a stroller) and spun her own wool (they have sheep and dogs) and made part of the clothes from it. The food comes almost exclusively from the huge garden, and the child was breastfed until the age of 3. They didn’t pay much for the little one. They live very "ökologisch" and nature-connected. Absolutely not my style but they are happy with it. So yes, it can also be done completely differently.

Opinions differ on that. In my opinion, all Ikea changing tables are rubbish. Too narrow, not deep enough, with shaky folding mechanisms, missing fall protection/edges, etc. They were immediately eliminated from the selection because they are a functional disaster. As mentioned in the previous post, I find that incomprehensible because you can have your opinions about Ikea's quality, but the stuff serves its purpose. I do not see that at all with the changing tables. Price-wise, they are more than reasonable; 100-170€ is quite a bargain.

We somehow managed without a changing table. First on the old kitchen table and then ... I don't remember anymore. In any case, we never owned a changing table. It all works.

The expensive part about children is the lost income (not only during parental leave) and the living space they require. Every month, not just once. The few pieces of furniture are not the problem ...

But parents also save money (pub, disco, cinema, restaurant, ...). Well, until the family vacation [ ].
