Is it possible to install full extension drawers in a 50 cm base cabinet?

Hello I have installed a 50 cm base cabinet with a hinged door and shelves twisted at the front. Actually, I would like to have drawers in this 50 cm base cabinet, but Ikea does not offer that. Now my question: Is it possible to convert a 50 cm base cabinet with a shelf (e.g. FA102) so that it has full-extension slides behind the hinged door like e.g. the FA521 tall cabinet? So you would have to buy these Rationell full-extension slides and also these 153-degree hinges. Is that possible? Or is there a mechanical problem? I think there must be a problem, because otherwise Ikea would have offered such a base cabinet a long time ago. Best regards Section chief

The only problem is that the hinge is attached in the two lower holes, leaving a few centimeters of space between the bottom and the lower pull-out. By default, there is no such cabinet available because the pull-outs are only offered in sets of three and only one front is included for the one deep pull-out. The front is not available separately for the 50 cm width. It is often offered on eBay, but mostly from Germany, and it does not fit your pull-out.

You mean the lower drawer has to be mounted slightly higher because of the lower door hinge, which results in an unused space between the floor and the lower drawer, right?
And what do you mean about the door? Did I understand correctly that I cannot buy the individual drawers separately, only in a set of three with a 50 cm door? That would then mean I would have an extra 50 cm door leftover, since the base cabinet already comes with a door, right?
And why would a door from Germany not fit my base cabinet, what is different there?

Yes, but the space is only wasted if nothing is placed inside.

The drawers come in a 3-piece set. It includes two aluminum fronts – one for the low drawer, one for a drawer with railing. For the third drawer nothing is included because the door is supposed to be attached there. You can attach an aluminum front if you have one, but they are not sold separately. However, you can also simply use a piece of plywood as the drawer front. The drawers from Germany come from a different manufacturer than those from Austria, Slovenia, ... They look almost the same externally, but the individual parts are not interchangeable. That’s why the item numbers are different. For the 3-piece set it could even be that it is cheapest in Germany.
