Is an additional heater recommended in the bathroom with underfloor heating?

: I am no longer entirely sure - but I believe that in the bathrooms the spacing of 7.5 cm and in the rest of the house 12.5 cm (my foot fit exactly between two heating coils) was used.

With the same insulation and heating type such as underfloor heating etc., a house requires a certain amount of energy for a certain temperature. The required flow temperature is completely independent of the heat source. So the gas heating must not/should not make the heating water much warmer than a heat pump, otherwise the whole place would get too warm..

I’m bumping the topic because I’m very interested in it right now. We don’t have a towel radiator yet, but the cooler season is coming, and now it’s really time for it. We are considering towel radiators in panel form (don’t like pipes because of the dust). This one is 184cm x 48cm and can only be operated with a 600-watt heating rod, which is inserted horizontally at the TOP. Is 600 watts enough for a bathroom of about 11m2? What is the difference between 600 watts and 1000 watts? Does that mean the water in the radiator doesn’t get as hot, or does it mean it just takes longer?

Do you still have your room heating load calculation? 600 W is certainly enough in a new building - even if the room otherwise has no heating at all.
Isn't the radiator connected to the electricity?

Yes, it is. Even pure electric operation, since we have an air-water heat pump and the water flow temperature is too low. Additionally, of course, we also have underfloor heating, even in the shower area. We do not have the heating load calculation, as it was built through the general contractor.

Hello, can you please tell me which radiator this is where the heating rod is inserted horizontally at the top?

We had to install our socket at about 2.20m due to the protection area, unfortunately I can only find radiators that have the connection for the heating rod at the bottom.

feel free to contact me via pm as well
