Is an additional heater recommended in the bathroom with underfloor heating?

A towel radiator should not additionally heat the bathroom, but warm the towels. Whether one can speak of luxury or whether these things are effective is questionable. We had one in the old house, in the end we didn’t even turn it on anymore because it didn’t do anything. Furthermore, it cannot dry or warm several towels because they lie on top of each other and then have no direct contact with the pipes. Dust plays a role if you don’t have a cleaning lady.

We will install electric towel warmers, in addition to underfloor heating, a wall heating system, and I will also lay two lines for IR panels - that will be it then

Hmm... So you all basically say it's kind of nonsense? Since the towels don't really get warmed up anyway and they aren't any good as an additional heater for the bathroom either??

1500 EUR for a towel radiator??? Do you have a luxury designer model? The "standard parts" cost around 160 - 200 euros.

In my opinion: if the room heating load calculation says that it is no longer needed, it is nonsense (or a matter of taste). If the calculation says that it is needed for the 25°C comfort temperature (which is often the case), I would rather go for a mirror infrared heater or something similar... or if you like, just connect the towel radiator to the heating. That they only become hand warm is, in my opinion, more likely due to the low flow temperature...

A towel warmer is not an additional heater!

And as a housewife I say: never again, they really gather dust, and cleaning is time-consuming.

Have your underfloor heating laid closer together if you experience fears.
Personally, I am a cold person, and our bathroom of about 11.5 sqm has pipes laid on an area of about 7.5 sqm: it gets properly warm!

A close installation doesn’t bring much with the small area and the required temperatures in a low-temperature heating system - You, Yvonne, probably have gas, right?
