this is stated, among other things, in the warranty conditions of the Faktum kitchen:
What is done to resolve the problem?
Ikea inspects the product and checks whether a warranty case exists. If a warranty case exists, the following happens:
IKEA has the defective product repaired or replaces it with the same or a comparable product. IKEA covers the costs for repair, spare parts, as well as the labor and travel costs of the technician. Replaced parts become the property of IKEA. If the product is no longer carried by IKEA, IKEA offers a replacement product comparable in terms of quality and price. If a comparable product is not or no longer available in the IKEA range, IKEA is entitled to provide an appropriate monetary compensation for the defect, the amount of which IKEA determines at its own discretion.
