Is a new Ikea kitchen system coming?

After I wrote yesterday, I searched the internet and also found something on the Ikea websites in Scandinavia.
And I also think they look very, very similar to the current ones :D

Now the only question is when it will really start in Germany. Whether this fall or only next year. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything about that.

But I already need a new kitchen in the fall. Can you also order things from abroad (e.g. Sweden) through Ikea Germany? :confused:
Because I would prefer to have Metod, where there will surely still be spare parts for a while.

Is it already certain when the Metod will be available in Sweden? Since Norway is not in the EU, the import will probably be quite difficult...

So plan well and take a large van for an extended shopping weekend in Denmark :eek:

Unfortunately, driving there is not an option... between southern Germany and Denmark it's too many kilometers and therefore too many costs :(

Today I sent an email to IKEA to ask when the new system will be available in Germany. Let's see if I get a response....

I'm curious to see if the date June 2014, mentioned by someone in another forum, will be confirmed.
