Do you have time and interest to explain that? I'm interested.

Energy saving is an essential pillar for climate protection. The Energy Saving Ordinance is a success in this regard. Energy saving in construction should be achieved through insulation and sealing. Alternative possibilities are disadvantaged. Programs for renovation and new construction prefer the material WDVS. Companies in the field of insulation and sealing are mushrooming. There has been a gold rush atmosphere for years. Certifications are also booming. Products receive labels and become more expensive – it is not only the labor costs that have skyrocketed in recent years. This already comes very close to a lobby-driven economic stimulus program.

The 10,000 Houses Program was even more lobbying.

There was a technology bonus and an energy efficiency bonus.
But the energy efficiency bonus was only given if you applied for and were approved for the technology bonus. If you had a house that met the values of the energy efficiency bonus, but without subsidized technology, you got nothing.

And does this come at the expense of noise and sound insulation? I have only heard in connection with windows that thermal insulation goes hand in hand with reduced sound insulation. Or also the neighborhood conflicts regarding the noise level of heat pumps. (For considerable additional costs, of course (as almost everywhere) one gets the maximum/best of both worlds.) To put it simply, less heating, more noise, I would find that a bad trade-off. However, due to lack of expertise, I cannot make a final assessment.

You are already discussing the details. I am thinking more fundamentally. The approach of freedom is: I decide whether photovoltaic or not. Whether olive or thuja or beech. Whether SUV or Polo, whether Tesla or Audi, whether plane or train. Or bus. - The state may promote one direction, through subsidies or something else, but has neither to punish nor even forbid the other. Why not? Because it has no duty to educate! Freedom precedes order.....K.

Mind you: environmentalpolicy - not environment

You can't put up recycling park benches fast enough to keep up with the number of yogurt cups being thrown away. So the petrochemical residual waste has to be downcycled, preferably in a win-win scenario combined with another problem: that Ivan raped our grandmothers has become too pale as a hate figure to be used against Putin. Therefore, there is a need for the fear that he might strangle us with the gas price - and suddenly, the average German understands why he has to cover his house all around with foamed yogurt cups. In the past, the Schildbürger carried light inside with sacks; today they keep the heat in with panels. These are quite amusing little creatures, these Schildbürger; even the stone louse can't compete. When this rubbish has to be taken away again later and Miss Nahles (or whoever is the first hothead to become chancellor then) fears the wrath of the grandchildren of the Gorleben demonstrators, they’ll just export it – surely a place will be found in Manila. The weather, Ulrich Wickert would have said
