Plastic fittings/water pipes and insulating underfloor heating beneath screed?

I can only answer the question for Germany with certainty.
All heated pipes except branch lines must be installed with 100% insulation thickness.
In the pipe crossing area, it can be reduced to 50%.

The installer has now wrapped the fittings with fleece. Is that okay? What do you think?

What do you think of the insulation with fleece/felt? (as in the photos above)?

What’s the point of insulating that much?

What should the fittings be insulated with instead?

Search for insulation fittings from Missel, that might be an alternative. Whether it is cost-effective, however, is another question.
