For friends of polemics, such a statement is a witty remark, which is how I perceive it in this case. Unfortunately, too many people take such sayings seriously, losing appreciation for the many things that work, not least thanks to decent politics. Anyone who seriously holds such a statement as an opinion either shows a lack of reason or pursues goals for which incitement is helpful.
