I like that and I think it's wonderful. My husband and I would have done the same if we had been successful in the search for a plot. On many providers' websites you can read "somewhere" how much they charge per meter. However, existing properties are currently an absolute rip-off in terms of price and way too huge for our needs. When buying an existing house for 400,000€, an additional energy-efficient renovation costing 100,000€ would have to be factored in. We might as well build directly. Whatever that has to do with a pouch and fool’s errand.
