We also considered whether we should plan a dining area on the south side with a bay window instead of a door, or do you mean, for example, enlarging wide doors at the corner in the dining area, e.g. both 1.5m wide instead of 1.13 and 1m
No, I don't mean a bay window: just something like a corner window. The 1.13 towards the corner, and then at the same corner in the other direction a 2-meter door window. This symmetry does not look good here in my opinion, since the house is relatively wide. I would play around with the patio doors there. Above in the same direction (west?), the facade could well tolerate if the outer windows come closer to the middle ones. This could be just 40cm or so, then mediate the lower ones somewhat, but not symmetrically... think about how the terrace will be furnished. Personally, I would rather plan wide windows with parapets anyway, since with wide houses it’s more harmonious, the possibilities for furnishings are also better, and the light yield in the room then spreads widthwise, adapted to the rooms.
