Hello everyone,
I recently assembled an Ikea kitchen myself and unfortunately still have the following unresolved problem:
I have not managed to integrate my Skinande dishwasher into the Metod kitchen. When I assembled the machine according to the instructions, there is always a gap between the top of the machine and the edge of the paneling. Therefore, I finally screwed the rail differently to the paneling manually so that the edge now fits exactly, but the paneling falls out of the rail when I open the door completely.
Since I no longer really know what to do, I wanted to ask if you know how this machine is correctly installed: Is it perhaps even correct that there is a gap between the top of the machine and the upper edge of the paneling (which would also mean that the countertop does not rest on the machine). If that is the case: Do I then put hard styrofoam or wood or something else between so that my countertop is supported? I bought a solid stone countertop separately, which is quite heavy and definitely needs to be supported on the surface of the dishwasher.
I would really appreciate your help,
Best regards, Jonas
