Ikea Metod 20 drawers are nicer than the wire drawers

Just spent about 25 minutes fiddling with the cabinet and testing all kinds of combinations without much success and without the front fitting better at the bottom... pretty frustrating for a perfectionist like me, especially when the rest of the kitchen has consistent spacing at the top/bottom and in between.

Stupid. Not even install it, just return it immediately?

the new Maximera-20 pull-outs are certainly much better than the old Utrusta-20 pull-outs, as several people have already confirmed in this thread.

if the front really protrudes at the bottom, then I would check the mounting points of the drawer slides (which is a bit tricky to see in the 20 cabinet). otherwise, it is also possible that the drilling template was either not applied cleanly during installation or that the drilling template is simply a too inaccurately printed guide.

I am also a perfectionist and would definitely complain about it.

Also extended the railing at the top and bottom? Otherwise, I would still try 1. omitting the rear connection, 2. borrowing two rails from another cabinet and trying it with 4 rails.

The 20 drawers only have a mounting on the rail at the top right and bottom left, instead of on both sides like the wider ones. (Instructions page 26) Could this be related? Is there a possibility to mount the rails on both sides for these drawers (then 2 more rails would have to be ordered)? Best regards, Robi
