Bathtub in front of the window I consider a last resort. Not really my thing. You always have to lean over and looking outside is out of the question. Shower, on the other hand, is cool - especially when space is tight:

Regarding the window in the shower, this situation could also occur with us - various things are read about this on the Internet. My concern is that the window is more difficult to wipe down after showering and, due to the significantly increased humidity, it will become a maintenance issue more quickly. Is this justified?

and thank you very much for your ideas, they are really great. I'll be messing around a bit more with my paper bathroom later ;) Patricck, how long is the entire wall where the long side of the shower is on your place?

I'm also curious about the thing with the window in the shower, whether it leads to corrosion or something sooner. I had thought about that briefly too and then dismissed it as "that's strange, a window in the shower."

What bothers us most about the architect's plan is the placement of the toilet between the shower and the bathtub, that's way too tight. It would be much better by the sink, we hope that's possible with the plumbing. I thought the window above the bathtub would work, at least if the handle is towards the corner of the room. Leaning over the bathtub is really awkward.

Here are a few paper bathrooms, my favorites are numbers 5, 4, and 1. With number 5 the separation of the toilet is really great, but I wonder how it looks if a wall comes right to the left there. Somehow I had imagined the 4m length in the bathroom to feel bigger :p

What do you think?

The glass wall is 2m and I think the masonry wall is about 80. The seating wall is 40 if I remember correctly. Actually, we wanted the tub under the window. But as it is now, it’s good, you can reach it to open. The bathroom was planned after the roof planning was finished.

I would take 5 and swap the shower and bath. The wall needed for the shower is already there. And then a half-height screen wall at the end of the shower. Then the toilet is in the daylight, but not so prominently right at the beginning.
