How to keep an overview of all maintenance (renovation) tasks on the house?

I will take a look at the app, currently we have everything shared in the iPhone ToDo app. It has worked quite well so far, but with your tool it seems you can do even more.

Regarding the objections that you see problems and then complete them, I would like to mention that many things need to be done preventively in order to enjoy your house and devices for a long time. So it can definitely be very useful. A few examples, maybe you can even use these as templates:

[*]Our fully automatic coffee machine needs monthly cleaning, otherwise the seals/internal processes get damaged. We neglected this a bit in the meantime and the device became leaky. Fortunately, it was covered by the warranty.
[*]The heating system must be serviced annually
[*]Smoke detectors must be checked. If you notice they don’t work, it is usually too late.
[*]We have a tumble dryer. A good thing, but since it doesn’t have a lint filter, lint accumulates inside the machine. Over time, this slowly reduces the drying performance. Once a year I take it apart and clean the device, then it’s like new again.
[*]As mentioned before: start up the drone once a year and check the roof

And these are things we have only planned so far and/or already do in our apartment. The house is not even finished yet. Especially with the garden, etc., more regular tasks will arise.

A simple calendar is sufficient for that.

That’s something you notice. When the performance declines, you have to take action again. I wouldn’t necessarily set a fixed date for that.
You could also simply attach a sticker with the date of the last cleaning on the front of the device. Then you see it every time you use it. Whoever ignores that anyway, won’t be helped by an app either.

What exactly is that supposed to achieve? The interval is way too long to detect problems. If the roof has already been leaking for a few weeks, it’s too late anyway. I just check the roof from all sides after a major storm and that’s it.

I don’t want to deny that there are things in the house that need to be done regularly. But a dedicated app for maybe 4-6 tasks is too much of a good thing. I also don’t oil every window in the house exactly once a year. As soon as I notice a window is hard to operate, I do it everywhere, of course. But not according to a strict maintenance schedule.

I’m 100% with you and in the course of designing the app, I noticed quite a few more topics that we currently don’t have on the radar.

- There are already some templates, but more are supposed to be added. In the long term, these should also be able to be submitted by users.
- You can already create “Own Tasks” and set them up completely according to your specifications.

Feel free to leave feedback if something comes to mind or occurs to you, thanks. (e.g. via the feedback button at the top of the app)

So I descaled my coffee machine for the first time the day before yesterday after 3.5 years, never cleaned it with these nasty tablets. It works like on the first day.

I’m all for automation wherever possible, but not for the annual heating maintenance appointment or a filter change of the decentralized ventilation? I take off the lid, look inside, and in the bedrooms I clean 3 times more often than in the study because there’s more dust...

If you enjoy it, okay. But it doesn’t save you any time.

Well-meaning idea, but unfortunately totally unnecessary. Not useless, but unnecessary. Sorry...

Open feedback is more than welcome.
I accept "not useless." The "but unnecessary" is still being worked on or the appropriate target group is being sought.
