How much can a double garage cost?

I think that between €22,800 (posting ) and €37,000 (posting ) there is quite a big difference. Or is €22,800 for a single garage? Either way, I find €37,000 steep (but I assume everything is included). Would a garage made of timber frame construction perhaps be cheaper?

37,000 is fair??? I would have said max. 30,000. thanks for the tip about Garagen Hoffmann, the local providers are a bit overpriced for my taste. They want over 40,000 for a prefabricated garage. I'm curious to see what Hoffmann will ask for.

Our double garage (6x9m, with foundation, hipped roof 8° and brick) will cost approximately 43,000 euros.

Price-wise they are probably fairly reasonable, at least the local market share suggests so, but probably not bargain prices either. I recommend them for two reasons: first, because I know plenty of their garages (and their durability); and second, because the local "masonry" made from prefabricated lightweight concrete panels is an alternative to "brick by brick" as well as to the en-bloc prefabricated garage. They can make custom sizes and perimeter-following, e.g. trapezoidal floor plans, and the climate is excellent - for the car, but also for storing books.

For 30K€ you get a prefabricated garage 6x9m without foundation.
Masonry 5-10K€ on top.
How anyone expects to get that for 22K€ is rather a mystery to me. But as always, there is a big risk of comparing apples to oranges. See e.g. MelanieSH, who is paying even more but has a hipped roof and clinker brick on it.
