I have 590 cm drawers with a usable internal height of about 9 cm ... they store cutlery, kitchen utensils, foils, small items, shot glasses, coffee cups (not mugs), Tupperware lids, serving plates, spice jars, kitchen machine accessories, good knives in the knife block.

Then I have:

[*]5 drawers 80 cm wide and about 23 cm usable internal height, they store plates (up to 15) in 4 stacks, sturdier glasses, serving bowls, baking accessories, Tupperware bowls, other bowls/measuring cups etc. Nothing slips around here even without anti-slip mats, but it’s convenient to access
[*]4 drawers 40 cm wide and about 23 cm usable internal height, they store cooking supplies, further taller spices, towel/rag supplies, pasta machine
[*]1 drawer 30 cm wide and about 23 cm usable internal height, it stores onions, potatoes, dishwasher detergent powder in a sealable container
[*]1 drawer 80 cm wide and about 38 cm usable internal height, it stores pots, pans and in the gaps the tall vinegar/oil bottles
[*]1 drawer 30 cm wide and about 38 cm usable internal height, this is where organic waste/paper recycling is located directly under the countertop.
[*]1 sink drawer 50 cm wide with space for typical kitchen cleaning agents and waste bins Yellow Sack/general waste
[*]1 wall cabinet 80 cm wide and about 80 cm high, space for kettle, toaster, sieves, hand mixer and at the very top, empty Weck jars
[*]1 wall cabinet 80 cm wide and about 80 cm high, pasta supplies, party cutlery, flour/sugar supplies
[*]4 wall cabinets 40 cm wide and about 40 cm high for coffee cups, coffee and tea supplies and other small items
[*]A tall cabinet with raised dishwasher, above it a combination oven with integrated microwave and at the very top a compartment about 60 cm wide, 80 cm high in tall cabinet depth for fondue, large soup pots, Römertopf, roaster and similar.

You never really have enough space. But for me, it would be more about comfort. I would only use drawers below the countertop and no simple cabinets. Who wants to kneel on the floor every time they need something from the back of the cabinet?

Look at decent kitchens, nothing rattles or slips there. At least a non-slip mat should be standard here. We only have drawers at the bottom because they are just practical. Everything in view. Or do you want to search for dishes and glasses in a base cabinet? For each drawer cabinet, we have ordered an additional inner drawer. You can never have enough space, and order is half the battle.

Of course, we also have tall cabinets with shelves. But everything below chest height is designed to be pulled out.

I was at a kitchen planner and there I was recommended a Brigitteküche.
But I have never heard of them before.
Configuration roughly like this (not 100% final yet and I don’t remember everything exactly)
- Painted high-gloss fronts
- 1 tall cabinet (~1.8m)
- 1 tall cabinet for fridge/freezer combo (~1.8m)
- 50cm base cabinet, 1 large drawer 2 large pull-outs
- 60cm base cabinet, 1 large drawer 2 large pull-outs
- 2x 100cm base cabinet, 1 large drawer 2 large pull-outs
- 60cm base cabinet with shelf
- 60cm sink base cabinet
- Corner pull-out cabinet (size I don’t know right now), contents are rotated outside anyway
- 1 pull-out pantry cabinet, size I don’t know right now (smaller one next to the stove)
- Constructa oven with pyrolysis
- Constructa 80cm induction cooktop 4-zone with combination here and there and power function and so on, independent
- Constructa fridge/freezer combo 217L fridge part, 59L freezer part (energy class A+) (built-in)
- Constructa 60cm dishwasher (A++) (built-in)
- Worktop 40mm thick, wood, ~7.5 linear meters
- Extractor hood Quasar 80cm safety glass (800m³/h)
- Franke Pebel undermount sink
- Window stainless steel faucet

Kitchen height is 90cm (on worktop, maybe it was also 92cm), 60cm deep

So roughly that is the configuration. A few front panels still as fillers. Hopefully I haven’t forgotten anything now
- Measurements will be taken by the kitchen builder
- Delivery and assembly as well
- I’ll connect the electrical appliances myself

Price: 10500

Consultation sounded fair and honest. Display kitchens made a solid and good impression.
The offer seems fair to me as long as the Brigitte brand is not in the lower quality range

If anything is missing for price assessment, just say

What do you think?
I have no idea about kitchen brands at all, I only know brands like Alno. Where would you roughly place Brigitte?

Brigitte is not that great. The price IMHO isn't either.

Our - I believe - larger kitchen from Häcker/Systemat, matte lacquer, with Neff appliances, Berbel hood and Miele dishwasher cost just under 12k€.
