How do you take the interest into account from the purchase of the land until moving in?

Don't get me wrong, this is not a big deal. It is financially affordable without having to beg. The savings rate just reduces significantly. A cash buffer is available. And not yet fully allocated.

Sparda is the bank that sets a repayment date with the borrower at the time of contract signing. That is simply January 30th. As already mentioned, construction should actually start in spring 2018.

I didn’t worry at all about the interest during the construction period.

My approach was: "You can probably pay it from the ongoing salaries" and "it won’t be that much anyway."

That’s how it is. I believe we have paid around 300 EUR in interest so far. By the planned move-in in December, it will maybe be a total of 800 EUR. Definitely nothing we would have needed a plan for.

As far as I know Sparda contracts, the first installment will then not be on 30.01., but after full disbursement (some date must be in the contract).

So for us, the full disbursement is in November and the first installment on 12/30.

That means full disbursement does not equal "1st installment".

But we are not with Sparda either.

We were informed by a [Raisseisenvank] that there are sometimes special quotas, and when they are used up, other interest rates apply. Therefore, a loan at the beginning of the year or quarter might be more sensible?

There is no right or wrong here. For example, at Volksbanken, there are regularly special promotions from the network providers (autumn offer, Oktoberfest prices, spring cleaning offers, etc.), which then, for example, offer a discount of 0.20% on a 20-year fixed interest rate or a "Take 30 - pay 20" interest rate.

You won't catch the right time anyway.
