We have now also bought the Bissell Crosswave, it is really great, a lot of fun. The fact that you can also use it on carpets is great.

Best regards

Since the topic of cordless vacuum cleaners came up in another thread. We also bought a Crosswave a while ago because of the statements here in the thread. For us, it was a total bad purchase. Used it a few times and since then it has been standing in the box in the corner. Threw 400€ out the window. Poor suction performance, especially at the edges, brush too thick, we couldn't get under many pieces of furniture, mopping performance was a joke and if you didn't clean it thoroughly every(!) time, the whole apartment smelled like mold after the next use. I don't even dare to offer it on eBay because I think no one should have to deal with that.

Opinions differ so much on this....o_O

It is certainly not the best of all vacuum mops, but we are still very satisfied. I also find the suction power good. Especially with small children (3 and 1 year old), quite a lot ends up on the floor during meals. The vacuum is really great for our very rough tiles.

The cleaning is indeed elaborate. We usually vacuum with the vacuum cleaner once a week. The cordless vacuum is used daily.
It is important to also replace the filters and brushes from time to time.

But if the vacuum does not suit your needs (low furniture, no desire for elaborate cleaning, etc.), I can understand the dissatisfaction.
Does anyone here have good alternatives regarding [Saugwischer]?

We also sold the Bissel again and got the significantly better Tinneco. It is now used weekly and makes a lot of fun for mopping and vacuuming.

I am at the point that the vacuum/mop combo cannot work in principle. Vacuuming and mopping are two different processes.

It works perfectly. How do you come to this (in my opinion wrong) conclusion?
