We don't make a science out of it.
Coarse things are swept.
Fine things are vacuumed.
Wet and sticky things are wiped.
Regularly with bucket and cleaning cloth.
Simple eco-friendly cleaning agent and water.
There is a vacuum robot that drives around the ground floor once a day.

Tip: Do not let the vacuum robot run if only the pet is at home. It spreads diarrhea or vomit - as a friend had to find out.

Tiles are vacuumed with the vacuum cleaner (cabled handheld vacuum) and, if necessary, wiped damp to wet (the laundry room and later also the kitchen have a special floor drain, so the floor can practically be flooded *laugh*). The small mini bathroom upstairs with its 4sqm minus the shower I usually wipe by hand with a damp microfiber cloth or attached to a small wiper head. Parquet is also vacuumed and wiped slightly damp from time to time.

Robot vacuum on all levels, plus Dyson handheld vacuum and occasional wet mopping. Always take off shoes. Therefore, the dirt is kept to a minimum. The robot vacuum must match the furnishings. Some furnishings also do not allow robot vacuums.

On your knees or what?
Same here: the AEG is so light, it only takes about 2 minutes for the ground floor. It’s not 100 percent perfect, but that’s not a problem. A few times a year we mop with a Vileda. Stains in the kitchen are wiped up immediately with a damp cloth.
We made sure that dust, lint, and hair are not visible. Nothing is worse than slavery to the house!

Daily Swiffer and the good old horsehair hall broom 80cm wide. In between a spray mop and on weekends the mop cloth. For crumbs a dibea 200pro, a Chinese vacuum cleaner that is top. A xiaomi robi will come when the children no longer leave their toys lying around.

I've heard that vacuum cleaners eat toys when they are on the floor and then they disappear :O

With the neighbors the threat works, I think mine is too stubborn...
