Hehe, should I take that as prejudice, ignorance of the obvious aspects, or as an insult? :) But not everyone here has that. Even without kids, cleaning gets done. By the way, I also know families with children who don’t have “something like that.” Still, even without T9 very good digitally in streaming. But I also know the first person in our neighborhood who, as a single, was the first to get something like that and swears by it. She also has the shiny vinyl, which actually always looks dusty and dirty. I would also be happy if cleaning is done during absence. But the first criticism is that the thing is built too tall and therefore can’t clean everywhere ;)

I think you misunderstood me … especially WITHOUT children I am in favor of the robot … because if there are toys everywhere, it can’t drive …

Are you happily embracing the trend of division?
Such a robot is neither devil nor savior - it just suits some and not others. Using it as a reason to categorize people is too unimportant.

We have a Roomba and consider the thing completely dispensable. We even had two and gave one away.

1. The old dog is now - albeit rarely - somewhat incontinent. I don’t want the robo spreading that around the house.
2. But when I am home, it’s too loud for me. Not because it’s louder than another vacuum cleaner, but because I expect to be able to do something else and feel disturbed. With the vacuum cleaner I finish faster and can get back to my things sooner.
3. The thing stands ugly somewhere around.
4. Except for central vacuum systems, every device has annoyed me when emptying it.

To each their own…. Our house is sometimes empty for an hour despite HO because we are out walking or shopping, and then the Robi runs… I come home, everything looks great and when I empty the thing, it gives me an extra satisfaction to see how full it was from the vacuuming…

He goes over every floor at least once a week and vacuums better than I do: because I don’t crawl under the sofa or under the bed…

I can agree with that 100%. Our vacuum robot moved out with the move to the house. Instead, we got a cleaning lady (I love her), but you have to be able to afford her first. They cost a lot of money over the year and are a luxury. Since then, I don’t have to rush crazily through the house every evening to pick up the toys. Oh, and with pets that have slightly longer hair, I also find the robots mediocre. I had to free the roller from hair mats every 2 days. Very tedious. When the kids are out and the cats are no longer alive, I could warm up to a robot again. But then I wouldn’t need a cleaning lady anymore and could manage it myself.
