Until quite recently, only the two fronts for drawers alone were shown. I think either someone thought the customers were too stupid to realize that you might also have to take the drawer front, or many customers were so stupid and there were constant inquiries.

For the domsjö cabinet, the normal hinges are specified, onto which you can always attach the dampers. However, I wouldn't buy any hinges from Ikea, but rather ones with built-in dampers. That's more elegant and ultimately cheaper. I once created a separate post about this here. Since the sink cabinet is not offered with drawers, I assume that there is not much space left with the siphon under the big sink; otherwise, I would take 80 cm drawers and the drawer fronts instead of the doors. Maybe someone else can say more about this. The only alternative drawer for trash bins from IKEA would otherwise be 201.107.43, unless something new comes with the new catalog year (Utrusta = RATIONELL successor?).

May I ask a few questions: Is it correct, for me point 4 is interesting because I want to buy a new Ikea kitchen and then it would make sense to buy the mentioned Blum BLUMOTION 71B3550 mounting plate cover caps instead of the Ikea hinge dampers. You mentioned there that 1 damper per door is sufficient. Does that also apply to point 4, i.e., do I buy 1 Blumotion hinge and 1 Ikea hinge per door? Or 2 Blumotion per door? How is it with tall cabinets? For example, the FA527 has 2 doors. The parts list shows that it is equipped with 2 pcs 50105863 and 2 pcs 70132375 hinges. Can I replace both Ikea hinges with the Blumotion? Do I need more than 1 Blumotion for larger doors? How about the Ikea wall cabinets? We want the Lidingö with glass doors. Are the Blumotion suitable for those as well? Regards Section Chief

Something worth knowing, I didn't write back then, I should still add it there. If you use 71B3550 for screw mounting, then you have to enlarge the holes with a 6 mm drill (this takes seconds) and attach the hinge band with two approx. 12 mm long Euro screws (e.g., IKEA parts no. 100347). For the 71B3590 with Inserta cup, the 5 mm holes on the door must be drilled out to 8 mm.

I would only use complete hinges with BLUMOTION. The damping can be switched on or off as needed with a switch. Wherever 701.323.75 is used, you can use the damped Blum hinges. If you have pull-outs behind a door in a tall cabinet (not with the wire baskets) you need the 155° hinges. As I wrote, IKEA has no dampers for this, but Blum 973A7000 (not to be confused with 973A0700) can be clipped on.

Thanks again for your response. I learn something new every time.

What do you mean by:
"I would only use hinges with Blumotion completely."
Do you mean that if I use a Blumotion hinge, then all hinges on this door should be Blumotion?
Then the Blumotion solution will be more expensive, right? Because I only need one clip-on damper per door.
There is one more thing I don’t understand:
Why don’t I need a 155° hinge on the tall cabinet with wire basket pull-outs?
Doesn’t the wire basket need the same door opening angle as a drawer pull-out?
Is the difference between the Ikea hinges 50105863 and 70132375 that 50105863 is a 155° hinge?
And can the 973A7000 be clipped onto the 50105863?
Best regards

It depends on whether price or appearance/functionality is more important to you. How many damped hinges you need depends on the size, the weight of the door, and the personal "damping preference."
Blum also offers hinges without damping. You will have to research whether that is cheaper or more expensive than those from IKEA.

By the way, if you want to limit how far a door opens because otherwise it would hit another cabinet in a corner when opening, the opening angle can be reduced with a clip, but not with the 120° hinge like the INTEGRAL, only with the 110° hinge, such as the ones with built-in Blumotion.

The 155° hinge moves the door slightly outward when opening, so the extension doesn’t hit the inner door edge. The wire basket is somewhat narrower and also clears the edge with the 120° hinge.

Yes.
