House renovation, year of construction 68, mold and co

Do you have an ID for a portal, ? How is it listed? As a residential house or as a plot of land? Where are you looking?

A year is quite ambitious... Even with companies. How exactly would you plan that? Architect as construction management and subcontract everything? Financially, that won't pay off compared to demolition and new construction. Only a lot of DIY and own construction management makes financial sense here, in my opinion. How I would do it, I probably already know. But that's really not for everyone.

I am usually always in favor of renovating, but this really looks awful. It has been run down in the worst way. Presumably, the house was never maintained at any point. If you cannot see this as the purchase price for the large plot of land, I would probably pass on it.

What does BRW mean? We had already thought about roughly 1 year timewise. Nothing was really done there. According to the floor plan, a room in the basement was also a stable. The kitchen was moved into the dining room. We were already surprised because that room has a stone floor.

Brw stands for Bodenrichtwert. You will never manage the house in one year. I would have a structural engineer take a look etc. And in EL it’s not doable anyway. But honestly: I know you have been searching for a long time, but the thing is a dump :(

We had actually thought about the windows first. They have to be in before autumn... but of course we haven’t set a proper order yet.
We have two all-round craftsmen among our friends, to whom we would partly have handed over the management. We would have done the electricity, floors, painting ourselves in EL.

But actually, this is really madness... We both work full-time, I’m always home around 3:30 pm, my husband around 6 pm.

My impression: better leave it...
