Is this supposed to be a test of our reading attention?

Unfortunately, that doesn't look successful to me and also sounds more like "bad Feng Shui" – regardless of whether no real head-bumping hazard "measured" exists.

Eight point five four meters – for what reason – is the design inspired by a specific model?

That is actually a commendably clever step, yet I do not recognize any concrete positive effects here.

The design strikes me as if someone preferred a beginner's attempt over tried and tested catalog models, although no special requirements are visible that would argue against using such. Besides, I am missing the plot into which the house is supposed to fit.

... exactly as big as that of my PARENTS.

Otherwise, the measurements were asked for, and these are the specific measurements provided by the BU. And the floor plan used there as an example has a closed kitchen and is completely oriented differently, so nothing would fit with the terrace etc.
We have an architect appointment in January since we have free floor plan design. And until then we wanted to prepare along the lines of "we like this, what fits, what doesn't, and where do we need to make changes"

and of course, we ARE beginners.

What is unclear about that? The staircase is way too short. The staircase blocks access to the living spaces at head height. Structurally, the position of the staircase is disastrous, complicated, and not feasible as is. Where is the ceiling of the ground floor supposed to rest? Half of the bedroom is wasted space. Where is the 2-meter height under the roof? How high is the KS? Toilet positioning therefore questionable, no shower? Toilet opposite and thus in the line of sight of the kitchen, "nice"... the sister of that, you know  This is just not acceptable, sorry.

Alright, then the architect still has a bit of work to do. And no, shower (walk-in) only on the ground floor. Not on the upper floor. The bedroom space is fully utilized, so that is already the case. The knee wall is about 94 cm. The dormer 1.20 m.

Of course, I have no idea about statics etc. We just sat down and looked, measuring based on the southern orientation, how the rooms in the house should be placed. So that the architect roughly knows what we want. Large bedroom, open living space downstairs, room sizes, etc.

Kitchen, dining, and living room in one is not an open floor plan, but whatever. It is not. Upstairs, with your small hallway, you rather create a feeling of claustrophobia – no matter how big the bedroom is. Great. Then go to him, present this, and say: "not like this. We want it nicely open, but also privacy, which is what a home is for."

That the "architect appointment" is meant as a sign servant appointment, I already suspected. Should we imagine the story like this: that you are trying to create a different house within the original design of the construction company by solely adopting the exterior walls according to the motto "same exterior dimensions - same price"? - naming this model could be helpful. There are some people around here who are more skillful at adapting.
