Sure :) The aluminum door is - like the aluminum railing - powder-coated and can be changed if necessary. But since it is white for now, the canopy (Hilz) could possibly be light gray. We recently saw a house that could look like ours (!). Similar door and railing over the bay window in white with light gray accents.

I just walked past a house presumably from the same period. They also have simple white windows, which are set off against the plaster with gray surrounds. Likewise, of course, the base. It looks coherent and does not take away anything from the original character of the house. The surrounds would of course need to be smoothly plastered for that.

If you do it that way, you should definitely use a warm gray (that is, with green and brown undertones). Use a color fan and, if necessary, prepare two or three samples.

Oh, fake beams would definitely be enough, otherwise the plaster is too thin there or has to be thicker everywhere else. And you can also do it yourself afterward...

We now have an offer.
Just the scaffolding and cleaning of the facade will cost about €2,500. Also included are:
- Applying reinforcement plaster
- Applying finishing plaster
- Priming and painting the base
- Painting the canopy (of course, you could also do this yourself)
- Corner protection on all doors and windows as well as exterior corners
- Installing APU strips
- Cleaning and painting the roof overhang
- Finishing strip for the base
- Priming and painting the balcony railing
- Fascias for the windows (hmm ...)
- Various smaller tasks

All together for just under €22,000

Someone must be giving away money! The plaster is still intact, right, or how was that? And as already said: for me that would be painted over a weekend ;) there is no better job for one’s own satisfaction!
