Yes exactly, that's why I installed the weather station... at dusk the roller shutters go down... at a certain sun position and temperatures shading is applied, etc.

The whole thing cost about 600 euros... but as I said, there are thousands of possibilities nowadays, it can be done cheaper... but also much more expensive...

What kind of cables you need on the roof depends on the weather station... everyone does their own thing...

Hehe LOL... yeah, that's the joke of the day... a home automation system is adapted to the respective resident in order to achieve the best possible result...

As soon as a stranger comes along, they might still be able to turn the light on and off and operate roller shutters/blinds... the rest doesn't work without instruction... no matter how well the system is programmed...

I don't know what else someone could be instructed on when everything is programmed. When it is in automatic mode, everything runs automatically. If I set the blinds to manual, each one or each floor can be adjusted with a button. The same applies to the temperatures in the rooms. Either I let everything be controlled automatically, or I set the individual room to manual and set the desired temperature on the controller. The same applies to the garden irrigation... I don't see what the joke is here???

The joke is that you simply can’t automate everything, since processes in a single-family house change... it’s not a factory where the same things happen at the same time every day...

Sometimes you just want to raise or lower a roller shutter here and there, and you also want the light sometimes brighter and sometimes dimmer. I, as the homeowner, know where to press what... but the guests are usually lost.

In the passage areas, there usually aren’t any light switches either, so guests try to turn the lights off anyway, if they don’t know it... and and and... that is really a topic on its own... I’m not even talking about the very special functions...

No matter how you program it... a non-resident of the house usually doesn’t immediately get along with home automation...

Sounds like over-automation.

As I already explained, manual intervention should simply remain possible. For example, through switches, dimmers, etc.

Sounds like money was saved here. Switches would help in this case. Automation cannot be blamed if the builder leaves out the switches...

In my opinion, guests should also not be able to change automation. They should only be able to intervene locally and manually.

But as you already said, it is a long topic and requires some planning and implementation.

Yes, and I gather from your explanations that you don’t really know how an "intelligent" or automatic house works...

For example, one of the goals of any bus system is to have to use as few switches/buttons etc. as possible...

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with you.
An "intelligent" automatic house is supposed above all not to patronize its residents...

Inform yourself first about what a bus system is before making claims about its goals.
