So my Nibe 1255 has an empty weight of 220 kilos specified. Well, it's a brine-water heat pump, but I would be surprised if you get a monoblock air-water heat pump at 100 kilos.

My two Panasonics each weigh 99kg.

P.S. After delivery, they stood in the garage for a few days. When it was then broken into and some things were stolen, no one thought of taking these nice packages (there is only foil around them).

The VWL 75/6 Arotherm plus weighs 135 kg.

In my opinion, the construction performance insurance would be responsible for this during the shell construction phase.

In the shell construction phase, the client "doesn't care". Until handover, everything belongs to the general contractor. As long as the client does not act with gross negligence, such as leaving the windows open at night for ventilation...

It's still annoying because the dispute starts and the new heating system has delivery times of many months.

But that the heating system is stolen from the occupied house or even just the outdoor unit is dismantled... I can hardly imagine. Well, a solution would be to build a cage around it. It can't get any uglier than these outdoor units anyway.

It's not about stealing something from a house, I think we all agree on that, but simply the outdoor unit. However, there also seem to be heat pumps [WP´s] that are only outside as Monoblock units? Then probably a significantly higher cost factor. My outdoor unit weighs "only" just under 60kg. When I google it, I see prices of just over €2000. So the coverage of 5K for "externally installed items" could be sufficient.

Yes... 2,000 EUR from the online shop. Then the installer still has to install it, redo the damaged cables, etc. If the guys are into cable theft, they'll cut off the external cable for the lamp flush with the wall. It should be similar with the wires for the outdoor unit. In the worst case, it all has to be completely re-laid. 5,000 EUR is already tight, especially because the plumber won't install the thing from the online shop for you, but will sell you his own... for double the price.
