In this project, there are only losers. Forget the nonsense with the [wasserführenden Kamin], it is financially a bottomless pit. You can’t burn your money more effectively, even if you get wood for free.

Well, I just received the electricity provider's bill for the last heating season. Almost exactly €300..... and we had it nice and warm in 22sqm heated area, no KFW or anything.
My questions are more about LWWP, since we are building new. ..... Difference between monoblock and split?
What exactly is the difference between monoblock and split air-to-water heat pumps? Doesn't the monoblock have an outdoor unit? How is that supposed to work?
With the monoblock, as the name suggests, you have only one unit, usually placed outside. With the split, as the name actually indicates, it is split into a compressor inside and a heat exchanger outside.

So, just as suspected... a monoblock has the compressor located outside? Isn't that much more sensible than a split? But what about the hot water storage tank, it hardly will be located outside. .... does that mean the tank is inside, along with the control unit? I still don't quite understand it ......
The monoblock has the cooling circuit installed in the device. It is therefore especially interesting for do-it-yourselfers (no one is needed to connect indoor and outdoor units as a refrigeration technician). There is then only one outdoor unit. The devices from Panasonic are particularly well known – you can google them. The new 5kW system has a COP of 4.9 (including hot water) here at the Lower Rhine.
hat man dann den Speicher innen, und die Steuerung?
The storage tank is inside. Control is via wired remote control or online. P.S. The monoblocks have an excellent price/performance ratio. The Panasonic alone costs only €2,900 with 5kW. With all accessories, you get the material for around €4,000 plus underfloor heating. Few installers enjoy that.
