Gardener only mentions net prices

How come he tore out the curbstones and you give him an order to redo everything? He should be begging you on his knees to be allowed to trim your hedge for the rest of your life. And if he dies in front of you, he damn well better use odor-neutralizing spray and still dance!

I mean the curbstones/curbs on my property and not towards the street. The property is an old orchard that has settled quite a bit in the area of the sidewalks. This had to be renewed for aesthetic reasons. So it was not the landscaping gardener's fault but solely (my) aesthetic decision ;)

so that one can better imagine it: The old curbs were partly crumbly and sunken. Therefore, they were removed and new ones were installed. Because, of course, an ugly edge appeared on the other side, I had the sidewalk paved at the same time. With paving stones that the landscape gardener had in stock and that were relatively cheap. If you thought these were gross prices, at least :P

Not yet at all. We agreed in December that I would transfer him the amount I calculated gross. We still want to discuss the rest...
