That's right. And if the garden landscaper quotes me €4.50 per square meter for turf and €400 per tree, I can assume these are gross prices. Intarsias, recessed doormat, drainage channels, etc. are all small items. However, they add up in the end.

That doesn't help the Gala man either; he can do a headstand – provided the prices are documented as stated in the initial thread. From my point of view, it is always important to remain fair – which can indeed mean that one does not have to insist on the legally secured maximum position. I cannot say anything about the relationship with the garden landscaper, the course of the discussions, or the quality of the work and therefore have no further advice.

The landscape gardener is interested in a solution, just like me. I just wanted to hint to him that the fault lies with him and not with me.
