What you describe as inferior; meets the safety glass RC3 in other locks, just by "pushing over"!

The advantage, no motor skills in the lock, where you recognize the inferiority, will probably remain your secret!

RC3 or not, merlin is right about that. The door is pulled into the frame by the motorized locking and only then becomes properly sealed. This is probably not the case when "pushing over".

The only one whose perspective is somewhat limited is you!

It's not just Innotherm (which probably also buys its locks), but many more manufacturers with different technology.

Finding the right door with the right technology in terms of the user is the trick; and a lot of technology (motor lock) is not always the best!

Please provide the datasheet of your lock, or the model designation...
