We also had this version, with the entrance at the front, facing southeast. We had actually only discarded it because of the tunnel-like entrance and because it is a bit larger, therefore also more expensive. Otherwise, we like it very much.

Well, I find it difficult. You say you used the floor plan as a template. But there is actually not much left of it; basically, it is a completely different house. The exterior dimensions do not match the mentioned house, and inside, not at all.

Regarding your floor plans: lots of hallway (almost 30 sqm), the front door would be too small for me...

No, we did not use anything as a template; both interiors are completely fictional. Only the external dimensions of the first variant, entrance on the right, are those of the Flair 134. The dimensions of the second idea, entrance at the front, are completely free inside and outside.

Unfortunately, the hallway is indeed quite large; I just don't see any way to reduce it if one still wants to be able to move around in it. This is perhaps due to the many rooms on the ground floor (and our rather large wardrobe).

Could it be that you are planning with a staircase that is too small? What are the dimensions?

What dimensions do you consider acceptable for comfort without wasting space?

Speaking of wasting space, I don’t know how you see it, but I consider a quarter-turn staircase to be easier to walk on and more space-saving. Easier to walk on because, for example, large furniture can be maneuvered much more easily and because I am used to the fact that steps "in the curve" always become quite narrow. Space-saving because it can be placed next to the front entrance and thus widens the hallway. Whereas with half-turn staircases, you somehow always get tube-like hallways at the end of which the staircase takes up a lot of space that does not visually come into its own.

However, if we take the draft from #25, then in theory you would already have a hallway for a straight staircase and can plan the rear part of the hallway including the stair landing as living space. Furniture could then also be transported upstairs much more easily than in a stairwell that is supposed to be only 186cm deep. A bed could cause problems there. For optimal staircase dimensions: tread/riser 26/19, then arrange according to the room height. Terraced houses often have a width of about 85, comfortable single-family homes like the width of one meter.
