Where is the whole family supposed to eat? With 3-4 children's rooms, I assume 3-4 children. But you only have space for 4 people at the dining table...
Bay window facing the north side?
What more can be said about that? It's probably one of the shittiest designs ever.

Hello ypg and Fiddy. First of all, I never claimed that the second draft is mine. Moreover, the question arises for me what difference that makes. And a scanned sheet... seriously, stay grounded! Who cares about that? The "scanned" floor plan is the first, rough draft of an architect (a very sought-after one at that). Which in turn brings me to the question of what gives some people the arrogance to call this "shitty" (especially since the house is by no means fully planned yet and has not been fitted to the plot—forget about the north side).

However, I am very grateful to both of you for other solutions. Constructive criticism is one thing, crude language is another. We can gladly discuss other solutions constructively. The "everyone is stupid except me" act unfortunately no longer works in 2013!

These are the parameters:

- Hobby room/office
- 3-4 children's rooms
- Technical room + utility room
- No basement
- No garage
- Two bathrooms
- Gable roof
- Kitchen with pantry
- Living room completely separable
- Room divider between dining and living must be a tiled stove, accessible from both sides
- WC on the ground floor
- Separate sleeping options with dressing room separated from the children's rooms
- At least 185 sqm living space

I am really looking forward to it!

Oh man, Fiddy, there are four chairs... you're right! PLUS ECKBANK (is obvious to the attentive observer)! That makes enough seats. Plus reposition the table, plus extend the table, plus add another table, and and and ... when family gatherings are coming up again.

I can hardly believe that either, because an architect, no matter how good or bad she may be, would among other things plan chimneys and downspouts. If there is supposed to be a tiled stove between the dining and living area, then a) the corridor in between is too small b) a chimney is missing. If you were to draw a vent, it would be in front of the window of a children's room and run through the parents' bedroom. Then the drawing wouldn't be correct anymore. The pantry is too big, but the kitchen is barely walkable, with no workspace in it. Stove next to sink. That's not planned either. Otherwise, I don't find it that bad, although given the possibilities (area, footprint) I expect more creativity (from an architect). I also don't understand the bay window.

The green dot next to the oven is meant to represent an external chimney. The bay window was already removed in the revised version because, as you mentioned, even we did not understand it. It’s probably called a tiny bit of architectural freedom (and how often have I seen absolutely strange plans that made neither sense nor structural sense, but earned the architect a peculiar award).

In our current house, we also have the stove next to the sink... so far I haven’t noticed any disadvantages...

The size of the kitchen is certainly a point that needs to be discussed again.

I much prefer such a conversation because through third parties the supposedly very good plan can be reconsidered. Thank you for your food for thought!

Nope... I don't believe in destructive criticism... I myself have been a victim of such statements as a questioner. What's the use of a "shitty..." if you don't know why! :(

I can now recognize a chimney stove.
Cooking and washing up are like fire and water... you don't do them at the same time, there are basic ideas of a functioning ideal kitchen. You can google that :)
Well then, there's a new plan, so the cramped kitchen will also be resolved
