Floor plan - Where is the potential for optimization?

I am lacking storage space in the kitchen. You can't use any floor-standing or wall cabinets. The door to the pantry doesn't really add any value, does it?

I also really like the floor plan. I would place the garbage bins elsewhere as well.

Should the half meter overhang of the residential floor serve as shading for the sleeping floor? I wonder if views might further enhance the 80s revival shock of the floor plans.

I also noticed the thing with the trash bins. They don't always smell so fresh.

And the basement light well is located under the garage....

I can’t imagine that it is particularly pleasant in summer to have the garbage bins so close and enclosed right in front of the house.

Yes, we had that thought too. Currently, it is still unclear how big the garage can actually be. Border construction with slope in BaWü. We have to wait for the surveyor. For us, the stuff that would also have space at the front must fit into the garage. Essentially, bicycles and garbage bins might swap places.

I really like it too, especially the straight lines; you probably already have sch anyway. Also, the additional door to/from the pantry would be too much for me, since there is already another access next door from the kitchen.

We haven’t considered that aspect at all yet. So far, we only saw the practical benefit of having a direct way from the garage. For us, the upper hallway counts as the "dirty area," and with that, the door could make sense.

Well, we will have at least one or two standing cabinets for the fridge and oven. Otherwise, we currently have about 6 meters of kitchen. In the future, about 9 + pantry, so I hope we can store our stuff there. The windows in the kitchen are a point that will be changed. There will only be one long narrow one in the middle. But indeed, we actually have to take these plans to the kitchen studio...

And the basement light well is located under the garage...

Wonderful, I hadn’t noticed that until now. Probably due to the fact that before the last appointment, we had asked to extend the garage; in the previous plans it fit.
