I also see pantry access as a disaster. It is not necessary at all. A proper door adjacent to the row of windows still leaves enough space for a small tall cabinet orgy. On the other hand, I see the staircase as completely unproblematic. Anyone who builds stairs knows what to do. And they won’t take measurements until the shell construction is done anyway.

Do you really need the shower on the ground floor? Otherwise, my suggestion would work quite well. The passage to the pantry would get a hinged door. Unfortunately, you don't want to change anything there anymore. I would reduce the distance between the house and the garage to 2.5 m. The bicycles can also be placed in a north-south direction. Then the house will have the same distance to the west boundary again.

But then it is too late to draw consequences from the realization that if the planner is a fan of M. C. Escher, the stair builder would have to be just as big a fan of Houdini.

Especially since a pantry is pure waste of space and above all money, unless you actually cook hundreds of jars of jam yourself, preserve vegetables, etc. At the usual estimated price, that is about 12,000 EUR for just under 4m², of which not even 1.5m² is ultimately used for shelves.

There are no supply shortages foreseeable and if I can't get food in the supermarket for 4 weeks, we have much bigger problems... then the pantry in the house is more likely a reason to be robbed, shot, and burglarized.

The passage will be 80cm wide, coordinated with the shell builder and kitchen dealer.
A 60cm passage is still marked in the plan. Even if only 75cm net remain there, that is only 6cm less than the normal room doors here. A disaster looks different. But you couldn’t have known that because I forgot to add it.
Whether this type of door is generally considered great or bad could probably be discussed at length.

Whether you need it or not is debatable – we want it.
You had planned an additional parents' bathroom for us upstairs – which we do not want.
We discussed it at length but find it more practical to have a shower option upstairs and downstairs and also a full bathroom that can be used by everyone.
The larger pantry from your proposal does not bring us any real added value. There doesn’t need to be space for half a cow in there ;) since we will have more than enough storage space with the basement, garage, and attic.

Then you should also think in time about where the opened cabinet door will stand. The standard is that it protrudes into the room, which I find quite impractical in this spot. 80 cm wide kitchen cabinet fronts are usually rather high-priced. You should also be aware of that. The position must also be well planned so that suitable tall cabinets can really stand on the right and left.
