Hello everyone,

we have finally received our first preliminary prints and are currently reviewing them more closely. Everything fits quite well so far, except for the kitchen topic.

As it is on the plan, we are currently very unhappy - because in my opinion, there is little space for tall cabinets and quite a long distance from one side to the other. Also, the place of the stove on the plan is obviously nonsense. The problem is that we currently don’t have a complete wall without interruption.

At the moment we are considering whether
1) we remove the door from the hallway to the kitchen
2) we shift the door to the far left or right
3) we omit a window (unwillingly) or at least reduce or move it
4) we slightly reduce the opening to the living room (a sliding door is supposed to go there)

My dream would actually be a small counter with 1-2 seats.
However, I can hardly imagine this in the current floor plan.

Do you perhaps have a few more ideas or tips for us?
Also gladly for the rest of the ground floor.

Thanks in advance!

Who planned this kitchen? I’m really not a professional planner, but this is a misplanning times ten. The longest possible walking distance at max.

Even a counter won’t help here.

This is not a bad concept, this is no concept at all!

We had a similar problem and left out the door to the hallway. Should it be a closed kitchen? Otherwise, you could widen the passage and leave only about 70 cm on each side and place an island in the middle with a counter from the dining area.

What are all those stairs outside?

Is there a complete plan?
Above all, the dining room is too far from the kitchen.

leave out the window above the sink, you will have problems with the faucet anyway ;), put the stove in the right front, the pull-out cabinet and refrigerator where the stove is....counter...our counter is on the left side of the kitchen where you have the wall stub :)
