Yes, you should definitely plan the outdoor facilities as well. Also the garbage bins and the bicycle shed.

You mean the wall panel? If you leave it out + place the island against the exterior wall, the room opens up right in front of you, so a full view. If you work with a wall panel, in my opinion it rather makes you curious about what is behind it. Both have advantages. If the island is not placed against the exterior wall, the wall panel would provide an opportunity for a chalkboard, picture or calendar wall, or hanging shelf.

We will probably leave out this partition wall. As already mentioned, one can then place some kind of shelf or something there afterwards.

Great, then that fits.

Yes, we definitely should. There are still many uncertainties. The current status is that we want to do without a carport. The car doesn’t necessarily have to be parked under cover and does not have to park permanently in front of the house. That is also possible on the street at the location. This way, the entrance area to the house would be nice, free, and bright. Instead, the idea was to move the bike shed a bit forward into the driveway and thus enlarge it. For the trash bins, there is really only the right corner of the house on the south side left. In front of the bike shed they would only be in the way if you do want to park the car there at some point.
So that’s the plan for now ;)

I found a thread on this topic here in the forum. The content matches your statement very well :)

Regarding the kitchen, I have another question. What minimum distance should be maintained between the kitchen unit and the cooking island? I have so far always found the specification of 1.20m. Has anyone done it this way and can confirm it as practical/comfortable? Currently, we have planned with the 1.20m.

Do that. But shelves usually cause disorder (due to the shelves and openings, not to mention the junk that ends up there), whereas a partition wall with just one picture or just chalk paint or a small dresser attached is rather calming. These are two fundamentally different things, and the "you can also do it with a shelf" is clearly something else. Then I would rather recommend a drywall partition.

Overall, I really like the floor plan from . However, I don’t like the fact that from the sofa you are looking towards the hallway/basement stairs and kitchen. So here are two alternatives. I would probably extend the hallway over the basement stairs as well, to create a longer wall for the living room. I think it makes the space cozier. I moved the right-hand wall of the kitchen and office slightly to the right, with a built-in cupboard then on the left as a cutout from the office. I find that more appealing. In variant 1, I would place a large mirror at the end of the hallway. We have it like that too ;-) Windows in both variants are larger/more on the west side. I find your living room too dark.

I just noticed that the door swing of the living room door could be reversed in variant 2.

Because of the somewhat space-saving spiral staircase, I would probably structure the basement more simply and with even less hallway space:

Thank you very much for even more suggestions . I really like variant 1 when it comes to the living area. You sit much more comfortably on the sofa. What still seems unusual to me is the fact that you enter the living room through the kitchen. But I don't think it can be solved differently. Or you place the door as in variant 2 and arrange the sofa accordingly. We have to think about that again.

That is a very good suggestion. Thank you for that. We will consider it in our next planning meeting.
