@katho, you should consider that your kitchen layouts do not provide the workspace needed. If you put everything in the pantry, you will soon only need electrical appliances and a worktable in the kitchen, just like it used to be when there was no refrigerator :D I understand the need for a pantry, but not at the expense of a cozy and well-structured kitchen, where you can quickly (drawer open) grab your packet of baking powder (drawer closed). The kitchen setup has a purpose, which is completely forgotten here. Workspace is created on the kitchen cabinets, which nowadays also often house drawer cabinets so that you can practically access everything small and work/cook in an organized way. With a shelf in a pantry 60 cm deep, you will eventually be arranging milk cartons in front of the cans and later not find the small packages behind the large ones. Nowadays, there are so many types of cabinets that disorder simply cannot arise. By the way: have you ever thought about the tried and true broom closet? :D:cool:
