[*]Kitchen and bathroom on the same side of the house - this works better with the plumbing
[*]the doors to the KZ about 75-80cm from the central wall - this makes the rooms easier to furnish
[*]access to the master bedroom through the walk-in closet
[*]in the utility room the machines naturally on the wall adjacent to the bathroom (connections!)
[*]Is there enough space in the garage for garden furniture and equipment? Otherwise either extend the garage or build an additional shed right away.

Hello,
we have a similar layout in terms of the arrangement of the rooms.
Our staircase is positioned a bit further down on the plan (so closer to the front door - the problem argument of a dirt area hasn't bothered us much so far).
The utility room upstairs (in our case the children's bathroom) would of course have to be moved to the upper wall on the plan.
Groceries coming from the garage first go into the utility room. Beverage crates and larger items stay there, the rest goes from there into the kitchen. The route has not bothered us so far.
I would not have the door to the guest WC open into the wardrobe. It can get quite tight there otherwise.

I thank you alone for your answers. My husband and I now also think that quite a few changes still need to be made to the floor plan. We will give it some thought and discuss it with the architect.

I will answer in more detail at a later date. Sometimes things happen in life that make everything else seem unimportant. A few hours after I posted the floor plan on Saturday, we were struck by a stroke of fate that we now have to process first.

Take all the time in the world; building a house won't run away from you! Rhineland greetings
