I had already looked at that too, but I really think it's too big, and I also don't know if there would be a lot of noise/vibrations in the house.

I need to take another look at the photovoltaic system; we are having the conduit prepared and installed for it, but otherwise I'm not sure if it's worthwhile without a storage system, and honestly, that's still too expensive for me at the moment. Thanks for the tip about the central wiring; we'll see if that can be done for the lighting as well. We increased from 2.50 to 2.75 meters, or rather it automatically increased because of the roller shutters. I'm not quite sure if I need it any higher; our current apartment has 2.90 meters, which is almost too much for me. For the kitchen, we've already set aside almost 15,000, and since we already have 2 large bathrooms with furniture in the apartment, we are well equipped for now. The fireplace and couch still need to be replaced; we'll take the rest from the current apartment (I didn't include the interior furnishings in the budget above, only the house including floors and painting). Tiles, floors, and painting are of course another considerable amount, but it is generously included in the current financing. We have painters and interior construction experts in the family, so mostly just the cost of materials applies. Thanks for your tips and suggestions; I take everything with me :) Now I'll sit down and work on the new floor plans :D

If you have money left over, a photovoltaic system is the best investment in the entire house. You recover the investment through saved energy costs. And yes, it is worth it even without a battery. A battery is only worthwhile if there are subsidies in that federal state. With the photovoltaic system and battery you also get the VAT back. For us, a 13.29 kWp system including power optimizers and completely black costs €16,300 including installation, but without scaffolding, as this is provided by the construction company. But then I would actually rely on an air-to-water heat pump or preferably a ground-to-water heat pump. With the bungalow, you have the advantage of a large roof, so many modules fit. For us, only two sides are fully covered with modules and that’s already 13.29 kWp.

We are also taking a 10m³ rainwater cistern to water the large garden (the plot is almost 1,500 sqm). Here, on the other hand, it is economically not very sensible. But since our garden likely won’t be allowed to be watered with drinking water in the summer, it is a useful measure. Moreover, you again have the advantage of the large roof here, so the "rainwater catchment" is higher as well.

Improving the standard house costs you so much money, you end up at the final price of a newly planned GU house with the changes already included. A bungalow from the GU, freely planned, is currently being finished by , where the comparison between small GUs and large companies was also made. Which federal state?

If there are recommendations, I am not averse to getting more information or obtaining further offers. So far, we have only felt very well taken care of by them, and since their offices are virtually three houses away from the property, the distance is not far either. Sachsen, Region Bautzen

The noise and vibration are not the problem with indoor installation. Our air-to-water heat pump is relatively quiet. When the house is quiet, you can clearly hear it, but not during everyday life. For a bungalow, I might not plan a regular interior door to the utility room, WA and dryer are also located there. I wouldn't do it for you because of space reasons.

Always make sure that your existing and desired furniture fits. Always draw to scale.

Don't forget the power outlets. Almost all general contractors are very weak in that aspect in the standard.

The price can already be close at Town & Country if sockets and so on still come additionally. What kind of energy saving regulation is being built?
