Then it would also be irrelevant where the TV is located - that was important to the OP and part of the initial requirement.

I just meant that I see the times when the TV will be turned off into the cabinet until the next Saturday as over, but instead as a permanently installed piece of furniture.

how terrible. Optical and acoustic contamination all day long.

Wow, great! Thank you very much for the great suggestions and food for thought, also on the topic of "conscious TV consumption"

I'll start from the end, we are more the "background TV watchers." Solutions like a ceiling-mounted screen or sinking/folding the TV away are unfortunately not an option for us. We also prefer a classic setup in the couch corner, with the couch in the corner (open to the living area) and the TV on the opposite side.

The sill height would be 1.25 m, the two windows are currently planned with a rough opening size of 80x176. Our neighbors have similar windows, which actually looked quite good to us. Having two different windows there seemed to bring unrest to the appearance at the front?! Or what would be your suggestion?

Great idea, thank you very much! It actually looks much better, it's bought

Thanks! Visually great from the outside, but inside regarding TV placement rather difficult again. We don’t really like the TV perfectly centered.

Yes, I think I’ll draft that and see how we like it with the symmetry left/right

I find the window door composition from post #1 well arranged. I would set the two windows in the kitchen at the same height, as their "symmetrical" grouping on either side of the corner they frame practically demands it. In the kitchen, one usually wants a view to participate in the surroundings while preparing salad, etc., or to see the mail carrier coming, but generally not to enjoy a panoramic view (?). Therefore, I prefer views there that comfortably swivel over the faucet.

Sorry for the stupid question, I'm at a loss. What does that mean specifically? Less wide, but taller windows with a lower BHR?
