That means specifically: I prefer in the kitchen - at least in the work area - windows that a) either start entirely above the sink faucet or b) at least their movable sash(es) begin above the sink faucet; in case b), a lower part would be fixed glazed, where, for example, parsley pots could remain without causing any disturbance.

Parapet height of 125 cm from the inside often creates the basement look inside .. and, I would make the design of the kitchen windows dependent on the kitchen planning. Because I prefer windows where the countertop runs into the window reveal as a windowsill and ideally there is pure working surface there.

Thank you very much. We also looked at the old thread several times and incorporated some individual ideas, but we stuck to the classic variant for the basic concept (kitchen in the front, living/dining room at the back).

It simply suits us better; we just don’t like this fully integrated kitchen in this design. Maybe it’s also because we prefer the classic kitchen layout, even though these "islands" are currently more in fashion.
