Why for occasional TV viewers?

Because you have to twist your neck quite a bit to look from the sofa to the TV, it's not comfortable...

I would choose the continuous bottoms at the top (as in suggestion post #3, of course without the Smokey Eyes in between), and at the bottom I find the suggestion from post #1 the most likable - it seems sufficiently windowed to the south.

But one question .. in the kitchen both windows with a wall opening height of 80 cm ... what is the parapet height? Just a feeling, it always gives me a basement look.

There are so many TV solutions that enable a simple and bright window solution: Evening viewers can choose a TV solution with a motorized screen and projector. This allows the freedom to plan the windows. Projectors are available, among others, as ultra-wide angle – almost directly in front of the screen. Projection surfaces can be rolled out from both above and below. It is also possible to recess a television into furniture – then the window above is well usable when the TV is not in use. Another option is a good swivel arm that brings the television into a comfortable viewing position and folds away again when not in use.

... although it seems to me you were generally thinking of consciously watching TV. In my impression, that rather fit a time when the Eurovision fanfare solemnly gathered the family like a Christmas bell to watch Kuli or Frankenfeld, while today the box is more like a multimedia ambilight that constantly streams.
