Like , I definitely didn’t want the office on the sunny side. Already with every new building, all window surfaces are shaded in summer anyway, resulting in days of striped views; one more office and sun-warmth is not needed.

With the new design, either the house moves a few meters south or the garage moves north. What does the development plan say about building limits? Open spaces in front of garages?

Here is another suggestion for the upper floor with the following advantages from my point of view:
- Dressing room as a buffer between child’s room and bedroom
- More space for dressing room/bedroom
- More space for the bathroom, larger shower and cupboard possible
- More pleasing layout of the rooms, especially for child 2
- Stairs do not have to be built over by 2 steps, which could be tight anyway.

Possibly enlarge the balcony so that you also have access from the dressing room, for laundry, hanging out bed linens.
On the ground floor you would have to move the window in the living room if you want it to be one above the other. I don’t really like the sofa position anyway.... That will probably be a bit tight and uncomfortable.

And on the ground floor, I would swap the kitchen and living room, it simply fits better regarding the kitchen and living room layout. You could also place the fireplace between the dining and living areas. I haven’t done that now.

Under the stair platform, I would also install a wallpaper door, so that you can, for example, store suitcases there.

Thank you very much for your thoughts, that helps me a bit now and I find the upper floor much better.
