Thank you for your opinion.

Maybe you have a draft or a website where I can look at such floor plans. I think your ideas of a modern single-family house with a separable staircase contradict each other. But I am willing to be convinced otherwise. It also doesn't have to fit our design. But somehow the rooms have to be connected.

PS: I come from a parental home with a complex (modern) hallway and now live in an apartment with a long corridor. PPS: I have to think about not taking the draft to the architect, since I am very satisfied with the current design. Maybe he can still optimize it (e.g. through recesses or similar).

I’ve included a picture here showing what the corridor looks like, for example, with a recessed wall near the WC. I generated this in 5 minutes, so it’s definitely not optimal. But in my opinion, it has nothing to do with a long corridor like those in office complexes. Of course, it’s not a completely open space either, but that’s not what we want.

So or so... 3m width is definitely too little for the bedroom on the ground floor. Especially if you are old or even disabled and need care or something similar, it is never possible in this room. I had not seen the floor plans with the slanted walls before. Unfortunately, I do not like them. Much too convoluted. If you leave your plans at home and the architect does not deliver anything better, then you can still bring your plans around the corner at the second appointment.

Absolutely not. Fortunately, it is prohibited there to block main traffic routes of a certain width, like narrow corridors, with furniture. At home, moving at a snail’s pace, you can still get around the corners, but at normal working pace you will probably curse this corridor with the furniture in the way by the second day at the latest. You also can’t meet each other there ;)

Nice program, isn’t it? I have it too – you can nicely see every little picture.
Reminds me of a floor plan discussion recently, where the corridor somehow had three corners and projections on one side, with a chest of drawers on every wall, no matter how short it must have been – totally useless, but the thread creator (and thus the program user) fell in love with this image of the corridor

We already have a hallway pretty much exactly like that (about 1.5m wide, just longer) and we also have a secretary desk there.

The fact is, I would like to have suggestions on how to get around this problem. You don't like the hallway, I have understood that by now and you don't have to. :)
