The plot is actually not bad at all. We have a plot with a 30 m long driveway, others have 15 m * 20 m. It's just not that simple. So the north garden is not that bad. You could maybe lead a slightly longer path away from the house and put a brick pavilion with a barbecue area and garden hut further back. Then you have the south garden - something like this:

I think the layout is good, also with the respective room orientation. And the terrace right by the house is at least in midsummer a wonderful spot. The last evening sun should still reach there when north is exactly at a 90° angle at the top. And, I think, you don't really need such a huge terrace facing south.

Although I would tend to put the [HAR] at the top right in the north corner, and the kitchen, dining, living on the left west side of the house. This also allows both children's rooms on the upper floor to be oriented towards the south.

The plot is really great... (unser ist ähnlich. ) The layout about like at BeHaElja is already quite good. I would also plan the study at the front right and the utility room at the back right. The entrance on the right side. So to the front, the narrow side. There are many nice floor plans online for that....

Thank you very much for the graphic regarding the design of the outdoor area/garden. We really like it

My husband strictly rejects the living room facing the street
I have really warmed up to the idea of the kitchen facing the garden myself.

What are his reasons for rejection? It would have a wonderful southwest orientation, it would be a great bright room. And with s layout, the living room wouldn’t be facing the street:

That should easily be 12 to 13 meters distance to there. Some would be glad to have that much garden behind the house.

How do you guys always manage to get these graphics done so quickly?? *Envy* ops:

What I forgot to mention for the outdoor area:
We are planning trench collectors for the brine heat pump & need a small bio-sewage treatment plant (regulation).

There is no way in. I tried to explain it to him. But if he's not happy with it, it makes no sense. He should feel comfortable in his own home.
Maybe the architect will say something about the topic.
