Too many questions unanswered. That's probably why the response is so low. Edge development yes or no? What kind of neighboring buildings are those? How tall are they? Who owns the "Schopf" (whatever that is)? Do you want children? How many? etc.

For a preliminary building inquiry, the very first standard floor plan from the internet will definitely suffice. Find something that looks somewhat similar to what you’re planning. Above all, the roof shape should fit a bit. The esteemed gentlemen from the office don't care at all about your room layout. What matters there are things like: size of the house, position on the property, distances maintained, access, fire department, environmental protection, etc. You can always change the layout later.

I like sketches. Wall thicknesses are initially unimportant – as long as you keep in mind to generally add about one twenty (120 cm) for walls in width and depth of the house. Which walls you choose as load-bearing will only become clear when dividing the space. From this aspect, I advise starting with the upper floor. The slanted wall next to the bathroom suggests a low or no knee wall – have you "recalculated" the headroom of the stairs everywhere?

I would make a larger window in the dining area (or 2 sliding doors or a very large one), maybe even spanning the entire width from the exterior wall to the beginning of the kitchen. Then the area at the back by the sofa, where there is no window at all, might be too dark.

Thanks for the reply. It’s clear that the layout isn’t really important in principle. But if I request a house width in the preliminary building inquiry that later means an open dining-living concept is no longer possible, or if unnecessary extra width drives the costs up, that would be annoying after all.

Leaving all unanswered questions aside: No guest toilet or shower room on the ground floor? Running upstairs to the first floor to pee at night? Seriously? And always sending guests to the private bathroom? Why is the bedroom on the ground floor and the office upstairs? For me, the other way around makes more sense. I would rotate the wall stub at the kitchen door 90° counterclockwise; this way, the living area is shielded, and you get better space for the kitchen, which I find quite impractical as it is with the L-shape. Huge children's rooms— but a pitch-dark corridor upstairs. Just throwing this out there for you to think about. Concrete planning can only happen once the framework conditions are known.

Oh, I just see: Medien is probably a bath - I thought it was a computer room. Ok, then that’s out.
