Everyone has their own perception. We looked at the different color combinations for windows, and in the end, we weren't sure about any except white, which we agreed on.

Personally, for example, I didn't find it very nice to see the gray windows from the outside and, when you got closer, the white window handle protruding from the inside.

But as you already said, it's all a matter of taste!

The advantage of white on the outside is also quite clear: you save the 4k extra cost for aluminum cladding - or the "smaller" surcharge for colored foil - plus you wouldn't have any problems with the film later. I don't even want to know what all the windows will look like in 10-15 years - then I'd actually prefer white, if I like it ;)

Regarding the costs: My 8 windows (2 of which are 2.5m wide elements facing south) together including installation cost just over 10K (including VAT). These are Internorm with concealed fittings and aluminum cladding, about half of them with RC2. I found the price very reasonable. Only the installation could definitely have gone better. He will have to improve that (taping...).

They are definitely the "KF410" from Internorm? We also have Internorm windows, but one level cheaper (KF310) - without concealed fittings. Those with concealed fittings would have cost another €2,500. We are actually considering installing these windows as well and will probably get the 410s at a very, very good price through our "window trade" thanks to a Christmas promotion and a "good acquaintance" - possibly even without extra cost due to the promotion.

Was impressed by the windows, simply excellent quality. Especially this aluminum cladding... When I saw that, it was immediately clear to me: never ever film!

The acrylic color windows were only offered to us for the KfW55 standard. Unfortunately, the better insulating windows required for KfW40 are not available in solid-colored acrylic color at Kn33r Südf.. External foil wrapping costs us about €3500 as well. I would estimate, but never asked, that bonding the inside costs about as much as the outside part, since the work is similar. However, we wanted white anyway, and the surcharge only reinforces this.

Exactly... We also looked at the windows with the 4th pane and integrated blinds / shutters and found the system very "charming" as it would have reduced the "wriggling" between the trades house construction (façade) shutter supplier (box / installation / control etc.) and the window manufacturer to exactly ZERO. Small disadvantages (also the discouraging price that never, ever reflects the actual manufacturing value) then made us stick with the conventional combo.
