If the additional cost is not too high, definitely. I wouldn’t necessarily go up to 45 degrees, personally I find it more attractive when flatter, so if possible maybe even lower the roof a bit, but that could conflict with the knee wall.

The surcharge for the 45-degree roof pitch would be €5,300. A knee wall from 1.13m to 1.38m would be just under €1,800. At 1.50m, an additional nearly €900. I think it is worth it to me.

It had helped me (when we were still planning with a gable roof) to draw it on graph paper. Then you can see quite clearly how the changes affect things and how the 2-meter line shifts relative to the house wall.

It would be worth it to me as well - the use of space clearly increases.

The price that would be too high for me is the design one: even the planned pitch does not visually tolerate an unlimited amount of knee wall. My feeling is that the elevation drawings already assume more than 1.13 m. I would not choose more than the 1.37 m (they are even labeled on average).

Not only is the door in the north view drawn incorrectly (mirrored in the wrong place, in the study instead of the utility room), but also in the north view the two patio doors of the living/study room (here the hinge direction is not correct).

I would change:
1. the sliding door: move it half its width toward the sofa (otherwise it only faces the wall), and at the same time change the sliding direction (so the exit to the terrace doesn't shift);
2. the side entrance door to the utility room: I would not make it glazed, and for optical symmetry I would not use the color of the other window elements, but instead wrap it on the outside in the color of the facade;
3. for the other windows on this facade I would suggest: the WC window and the lower parts of the windows in the bathroom and bedroom be made with frosted glass and the upper parts up to about handle height be satin-finished.

Thank you for your comments.

Regarding 1) in my opinion, we would lose too much wall space for the TV, stereo system, etc.

Regarding 2) it is drawn incorrectly. It should not be glazed, but possibly with a transom window to allow daylight into the utility room at all.

Regarding 3) very good ideas!
